French hammy

Post by trappa »

Thought I’d share this hammy I found yesterday along with a medieval bronze ring brooch.
I had a couple of hundred acres to play on, all freshly drilled and as flat as a bowling green. Should have been ideal but there was a lot of interference, I think the ground had been shot over many many times, hundreds of little lead shot really had me struggling to pick out the smaller signals.
Anyway I pulled out this hammy and had absolutely no idea so sent a photo to the local group and someone said Charles the Bold so that was a new one on me.
Also found this lovely ring brooch.
Cheers all and happy Easter [81/]
