M@rs Gauss coil

Post by OZ10exp »

Hi a quick question, is there a way of fixing the broken lugs on my coil? A friend's dog jumped up at me before I had a chance to get the detector out of the way and managed to break the lugs. Gutted is an understatement. I was thinking of trying thin nylon sheet and using plastic nuts and bolts to try and fix it. I can't really do a warranty claim, I don't think, as I bought the detector second hand. Any help and advice welcomed. Thanks.
