I’m on holiday in Norfolk - what are the boundaries when beach detecting, are dunes included, how far back from the shore are you allowed to detect ?

If it's Crown Estate then your limits are between the high and low water marks I believe.

loaded question

some of Norfolk you can't detect even though its on the crown Estate

Dunes are easily damaged by any digging. Even if they aren't SSSI its irresponsible to damage them.

Best to use the search. Plenty of beaches in Norfolk to go at.
