Detech Ultimate 13inch coil

Hi I’ve just purchased a DeTech 13inch ultimate coil for my Minelab explorer se but it does not seem to work in factory pre set the large coil I’ve upgraded from which was a coil of similar size but an older model was fine.is there a reason.many thanks in advance..

I have one that works well with my E-Trac. Other than checking all the usual suspects, i.e. no loose connections, dirt in the connector, broken pin etc. I would then suspect a defective coil.

I have one of these coils for my Etrac. It works for me.

I am unclear about exactly what you mean. Is the coil dead or does it require adjustments to make it stable?

Never had a problem with the Detech coil on my Explorer 2 or the E-trac? As above it may be a faulty coil by the sound of it.

Hi sorted I had to play around with settings but now works excellently many thanks to all replies.
