I have actually had a incredibly lucky year [81/] I had a kidney transplant, my wife just so happened to be a very close match and offered me one of hers which has pretty much changed my life [08/]
Unfortunately metal detecting finds none at all, I was in Bristol Hospital on the 25th February having the transplant, this was pretty much when Covid started to kick off, from that point there was the first lock down and I was classed as extremely vulnerable so never left the house for months and now obviously we have the second lockdown [27/]
Hopefully at some point in the not so distant future I can once again enjoy the hobby [57/]
I still count myself so very fortunate and hugely thankful [08/]

Hi Paul

I'm Gary and live in Beccles. Looking forward to getting out metal detecting when the world is back to normal. Sadly i have no land permissions yet but would be happy to meet up when convenient. Semi retired so quite flexible with time and day etc

Safe safe. [81/]

Hi Gladiator,

I know you posted this a few months ago but I didn't see it because I only joined today.

I'm from Lowestoft and I haven't got a clue.

How's your detecting going? Have you managed to find anywhere other than the beach?

Hi all. Sorry to jump on this thread but see you’re near me. I haven’t been able to get out detecting for a long long time due to looking after my father. I’m really hoping and needing to get out again if anyone is up for it?
