Nel hunter on sovereign GT

Hi folks
I bought a used sovereign GT and it is coming today, this will be used for beach duties in the wet and dry sand, sadly the outer sheathing on the original coil cable is missing in parts (common fault) but the detector is spot on, steve cox told me the inner cables start to go brittle as well, and can short out and blow the control box
I am upgrading the coil and was thinking of the NEL hunter as the beaches up this way are littered with iron and the likes, they used the beaches around here as a dumping ground for buildings that were bombed in WW2 hence the high iron content
Anyone used a NEL hunter on a sov for beach duties, any info would help
Any beach settings on the sov would help

The GT came and it,s in great shape, the facia looks new and just a few marks around the rim
I ordered a control box cover to keep the salt water and salty enviroment at bay
I had to tape the whole of the cable up on the coil as most of the outer sheath has gone, i might get a few years out of this coil but still interested in the Hunter coil
Looking forward to getting out with the GT on the beach

Has anyone used a coil that performs better than the supplied tornado coil (10 to 12 inch)
Theres a joker on ebay asking £175 for one, the outer sheathing will start to peel off in a few years
The NEL sharp shooter looks a good coil too, anyone used one of these with the sovereign
