Hi All . Looking to go Metal Detector round the Humber Bridge on the south side wondering if you are aloud too.

Hello Andrew, A warm welcome aboard the forum. [81/] Take a look at the Crown Estate Foreshore map which outlines the various beaches/foreshore areas under their jurisdiction. No license is required but there are conditions to conform to.

I've "tried" a few times to do this area, and it's a nightmare. It's full of trash, and due to the chalk, digging is nearly impossible. Sinking mud can also be dangerous, so be careful.

However, if you're willing to put in the time and effort, you can find something old.

You can detect at Hessle Foreshore but not at Spurn Point; please refer to the Crown Estate Foreshore map for more information.
