Xpointer Max falsing - any ideas?

Post by Adeyeves »

Hi,
I recently bought the new Quest propointer MAX as it looked to be a good pointer, however after switching on to pinpoint it finds the target and then just goes crazy! it has a continuous max volume and vibrate until switched off [This is well away from any target and held at arms length into the air with no overhead cables , metal etc]
Is it faulty or am I doing something wrong?
I think it's faulty, but wanted to check before returning it.

There's a good video on youtube showing all the settings may be useful to you. [81/]

Hi, unfortunately [in this case anyway] there's no battery as it is USB rechargeable and I have made sure it's fully charged.
I appreciate you taking the time to answer :)

Thanks for your input. I actually did the same and the new one is fine.
The customer service was excellent.
