Wireless Head phones ?

Post by swansea jack »

Hi Gents
This is probably going to be a quick one, but here goes anyway, is it possible to fit wireless headphones to an Explorer. I don't want to pulling wires out and soldering bits in I'm looking at simple plug in solution.

Garrett z-lynk ms-3 wireless headphones kit will fit any machine that has a normal headphone socket. [81/]

Hi again,
Do you know if the Garret headphones can be linked to a TV :~#) , I'm a bit hard of hearing and would be killing two birds with one stone, and it will justify the expense to the dragon indoors [87/].

I presume that a dongle of some sort would have to be plugged in. Given that the jackplug on an Explorer is at the end of the handle this might make it a bit vulnerable to knocking and flexing. [81/]

Thanks for pointing this out Fred, but a short extension cable and maybe taping it underneath the handle might solve that one. I use a harness so I don't put the explorer on the sand.

The dongle comes with a band that attaches it to the stem securely.

I am using Garrett z-lynk WR-1 wireless receiver with ear buds with my Equinox800. For me this is the best option. I can use headphones only on top of a cap or hood covering my ears. All headphones make my ears hurt after a wile. That's why I use headphones only in the winter.
I prefer Garrett z-lynk to the Equinox wireless system - it's faster and I love the Garrett Pro-Pointer AT Z-Lynk.
Minelab CTX 3030 with 6", 11" and 17" coils.
Minelab Equinox 800 with 6", 11", 15", Coiltek nox 10x5 coils.
Minelab Pro-find 35, Garrett Pro Pointer AT z-lynk, Nokta Waterproof Pointer.

ALL THE GEAR, NO IDEA!
