Hi everyone...
I am new to detecting and i am finding it real hard to get permission in the area i live, i am from Hemel and i am hoping someone may have room to join them on a dig in or around Hemel Hempstead.

This is the main difficulty experienced by new detectorists and often leads to them giving up.
Ideally permission should be sought before the hardware but this rarely happens.
There are options such as beaches, clubs or pay-to-dig groups (often found on social media).
Insurance should be bought before doing any detecting.
Please research the blue column over there l;/ for tips on acquiring permission and responsible behaviour while detecting as it will help to reassure any potential land owner that you can be trusted to behave correctly on their property.
This is a subject that is raised a lot so you will find lots of great advice.
