Hi,
Has anyone got any advice please?
Headphones output on my 705 has suddenly stopped. It was intermittent for a few mins then stopped completely. Headphones are working fine elsewhere, and detector works fine without the headphones plugged in.
Any suggestions? Could a reset help? Or is it something that needs an "expert"!?
Thanks,
Dave.

A reset is always worth a try.
This sort of issue is why I would never go back to wired headphones.![BigGrin [88/]](./images/smilies/88_EmoticonsHDcom.png)

I'm sure I've heard of this before, the connection between the detector and headphone adaptor is dodgy and tweaking the contacts on the detector with a small screwdriver or pointed pliers so they make better contact with the headphone adaptor. I'm not saying this is a fix but something to try. I had a problem with my headphone cable breaking down as well so perhaps try another cable. Hope any of this helps mate, good luck
ps. Don't leave your headphones plugged in permanently it won't help matters.

Thank you. On closer inspection I think it *may* be the headphones after all. I'll keep tinkering. Thanks very much for the suggestions.
