Torquay area beaches

Post by liamnolan »

Hi all, I am driving down to Torquay tomorrow to drop off some equipment and then all the way back! To break up the 800 miles, I am planning to stay overnight on the Saturday and then perhaps use the Deus in some secret gold laden cover. I would appreciate any advice on where and when to go on the Sunday, I have all day, transport of course so anywhere within 20 miles would be ok. Never used the Deus outside of GMP mode, so its a learning curve for me!
I already have my permit, done that ages ago and never needed it. I will be travelling down again the following Sat to bring the equipment back! Liam :-O

Thanks you two, not much beach detecting where you are I suppose? =)) Well, I take every opportunity to detect and I travel about a fair deal, no land permission available down in Devon, so looks like the beach may at least allow me to wander around for a few hours. I will look up Google Earth anyway and look at the terrain, Liam ;)
