St Leonards beach, East Sussex

Evening all,

Could anyone let me know if metal detecting is allowed on St Leonards on Sea beach, East Sussex?

Loads of posts on the forum about other sussex beaches but not St Leonards.

Did you find out if its ok to go metal detecting on St Leonards Beach. If needed where can you get permission?
