NO LONGER REQUIRED - search coil 250mm
...250mm overall with 130mm inside ring like pic. Must be cheap, but can be faulty as long as sound mechanically (i.e. a break in the wire is ok). Reason - I want to build my own detector and wind the coils, making the hardware for this is very difficult without a large 3d printer! It doesn't have to be waterproof.

GoldDance, it may help others if you can give the manufacturer and model name of the coil you have pictured. Doing so could jog the memory of someone who might have one of these sitting in a box in the garage or loft, long forgotten. ![Smile 1 [32/]](./images/smilies/32_EmoticonsHDcom.png)

Thank you for the advice, however, the make is entirely unimportant, only the approximate size.
Almost anything will do. It's just that I would struggle to make anything so light (the handle bit is relatively easy). Cheers, GD.
