With the CS6MXI what do other users find as the best setting for clearest tones?

Hi

Personally I would have the discrim volume and iron volume set to 5 (I like this as you can get more of an idea if the item is junk), sensitivity at the highest you can achieve and the discrim level set to 3. Ground I leave in auto.

This is pretty much how I setup my CS6 when I had it. I'd sometimes need to increase Disc to just under 4 if there were a lot of nails about, but my testing with hammered halves showed they still came through if not too deep. Also cut quarters ...
Nokta Legend, LG35, LG28 & LG24 coils + Accupointer.
C-Scope CS6MXi.

Previously, early 80s to early 90s top-end C-Scopes and Tesoros. Early 90s onwards, several Whites "big box" detectors including the wonderful V3i - which is much missed.
