Saltburn & nearby........

I'm having a 4 day break in Saltburn at the beginning of September & I'll be sneaking the 505 along with me. I have my Crown Estates permit already but is there any local forum member that can recommend areas worth a bash?

..........or pubs in Saltburn worth visiting? ;)
