Headphones Battery Problem ?

Post by cnb2023 »

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and this is my first post.

Have any Simplex users had a problem with the dedicated headphones battery draining quickly? My headphones need recharging after a 2 hour session. A faulty battery may be to blame but I’ve never had a problem with rechargeable (Lithium) batteries in a device that is relatively new like my headphones.

Thanks in advance for any responses, and good luck to everyone on the forum.

I've had no problems at all, headphones seem to go for ages before battery runs down, I think you might have a fault with your headphones might be worth getting checked.

Mine were perfect when I sold them. They were two years old.
Nokta Legend, LG35, LG28 & LG24 coils + Accupointer.
C-Scope CS6MXi.

Previously, early 80s to early 90s top-end C-Scopes and Tesoros. Early 90s onwards, several Whites "big box" detectors including the wonderful V3i - which is much missed.

These LiPo batteries are pretty reliable, but they do fail. These batteries are also noticeably less able to hold charge in very cold conditions - I don't know if that's relevant to you. The other thing to check is that your charging setup is working properly. The batteries are cheap to replace, and it's not a difficult job for someone with even pretty basic electrical/electronic abilities.
