Hi

That's great as I cannot find one anywhere.
I think my batteries have died as it does not charge anymore.
I just wanted to check a few things before attempting to replace them:

1. Charging voltage (I guessed it was 12v)
2. Polarity (centre +ve ?)
3. Rechargable 1.2V battery type.

I have PM'd you but it looks like the PM messages are just sitting in the outbox for some reason so I emailed you on Outlook as well.

Best regards
Richard

If your Crossbow is not one of the originals produced by George Overton, you may need a different manual. This was highlighted on another forum where a buyer bought a 'homemade' version on an auction site

The number of the unit will be on the inside.
A laptop charger is what is used to charge it; 19V.

Batteries were fine after i used a 19V charger!
They seem to last ages.

It seems to detect everything within 2ft even with minimum sensitivity. Not sure I know what I am doing with this machine :-)

They are very deep for sure and mainly aimed at Artefact and other deep detecting, pleased that you have got it all sorted out.
