Ebay programs

Post by Peasgood »

Are they worth the money?
I will be quite honest and say I have little idea what the controls do on the machine.
Of course I could spend hours fiddling about with them, never really knowing if I am improving things or not. I could stick with factory preset or I turn everything off except the iron discrim.

Thoughts or experiences please. :)

You can buy programs for the Explorer on ebay.
I'm guessing it is just "set gain to 8"
"Set volume to 10" etc.

I will have a gander on the Minelab forum then. :)

OK thanks. No I wouldn't buy as this information will be free on the Internet

Personally I haven't altered that many settings as I found most of the default ones to be fine, apart from running in iron mask mode on 23 or 24

They are not free on the Minelabs forum now, and it makes ebay cheaper.
I had set a couple of programs under User A and User B but pressed the wrong button the other day and wiped one of them.
Just tried to find it again and you now have to pay £15 to see it on the Minelabs forum.
It was handy, but not worth £15. (to me anyway)
