About 75 years ago the part of the woods where it was found was an orchard and it did have a track going through it, all overgrown now, I have searched on aerial photos and 1951 photos clearly show the orchard. https://historicengland.org.uk/images-b ... LpJ3GUMcQ8

Just a quick word from me 'The Don [18/] ' I am working my way through a mountain of rusting car parts left by my late husband, lack of pension due to being being on old rate, means I am ebaying bits, would you like me to give you a shout if I find anything that might be of use?
Most success I have had so-far was a speedo that I worked out was from a three wheeled Morgan (parts not working) that got £178 Yay! bottle of wine instead of a cup of tea!! [81/] most bits are not great [27/] but every little helps. (anyone want a right headlamp for a Triumph Roadster?).
If you want to detect car parts, I've got a house sized plot you can go over behind my garden! Underneath it are a load of Victorian, Georgian, Tudor and Medieval bits hiding, I know from when I got to detect there before he filled it with car parts [27/] . My old Arado found a few.

Yay! New Simplex, curtesy of Pensions owing me £10 per week!
