Buddy in Newcastle upon Tyne area and beyond

Hi guys, Anyone out there need a buddy to go and find permissions with and detect with please contact me. I am semi retired and raring to go but need some one for a bit of banter and moral support when approaching farmers for permission.

Well, I have had 20 views and no replies to this thread so do people view it to see if I have a permission before agreeing to buddy up or have I not put enough detail about myself or is it just boredom or curiosity or is there another reason why they view the thread but don't offer themselves as a buddy.

Hello, when a New topic is added to the recent topics list many members will take a quick look even though they are not in your area and the topic might not be relevant to them personally, you can also get views from search bots scanning the page and moderators like myself checking the post which will also increase views.
When it comes to looking for a buddy you will need to be a little patient and give your topic some time

Hi Ian, not quite your area but we are at the other end of the A69 between Gretna and Dumfries. You are more than welcome to tag along with us old buggers for a day or two to get you going, we have various permissions of around 2000 acres+ there are four of us and it’s more about the craic and flasks of tea than serious detecting…..

I'm 57 and just getting back into detecting after a very long gap. I would love to tag along on any sites.

I'm in Durham but have a small campervan so anywhere up north or Yorkshire isn't a problem.
