Lancs buddy required

I’m Sam from Chorley in Lancs - 20 years of detecting all over the UK under my belt, lots of good finds, hundreds of hammereds and a couple of treasure troves.

I packed it in around 10 years ago when I had too little time due to work commitments - more time now so I’m looking to get started again albeit slowly.

Things have changed a good deal though - I always used decent Minelab models the last being the Explorer 2 so would appreciate any guidance on the best Minelab to use for general land detecting.

Also any buddies or folk willing to let me drag along with them on a few outings to get my Scooby senses twitching before I commit myself to the outlay again.

Costs / fuel costs no problem and I have a Ranger pick up capable of tackling anything off road too.
