Bronze pot fragments ?

Post by stevo-preston »

Evening to all
I found these 3 metal fragments all within 100-200 yards of a Roman road
All separate holes spaced out
One is clearly more green than the other two which are green but only on the edges
If possible any info on date etc would be gratefully appreciated
My scale is not big enough so had to make do with a tape

Generally they are post Medieval and very common indeed. They probably got there though the widespread practice of bringing meals to the workers in the fields. [81/]
