Versa interference

Post by BazButtons »

One for T.C
I recently bought the versa and over the next few days familiarised my self with the controls, however when I took it on a club dig it was unusable in multi frequency due to the amount of minelabs being used by other members .
It was the worst interference I've ever encountered on par with an electric fence on steroids,
I put it in single frequency and it worked a treat, but I bought it for its multi frequency use.
Are Rutus working on this problem that other users must of encountered.

Hey Baz,

Any MF machine can pick up other machines at rallies etc, you have 10 diff MF settings on the Versa so trying switching to another.

Or as you discovered, drop into single frequency if too close to a Minelab.

Was it any specific Minelab model?

Thanks for the reply TC, they were mainly nox 800 and a couple of manticore, I'll shift the frequency into another mf mode next club dig, and give that a bash.
