Maybe an early Med strap end? ID help please

Evening, could I please have some ID thoughts on what this object is? I am thinking possibly a strap-end, and possibly Early Med, but maybe not. Made of copper-alloy. Found with the Deus II. Thanks in advance for any help.

There are several very similar items on the PAS database, so I hope your ID is correct - very nice find [08/]
