I found this possible harness ring yesterday in West Cornwall on a ploughed field about 10 inches down using the deus II.
The ring is crudely made of bronze which has a thick patina, chamfered on both sides and weighs 89 grams. Diameter of the ring is 5 cm, inner ring which is slightly oval 2.5 cm.
I think it's maybe too heavy for a harness ring.
Any ideas on what it was used for and how old, be nice to think that it is Celtic as there are iron age settlements on the farm.
Thanks in advance.

Definitely that bit different with some age to it. Fair old size as well. I like it. ![ThumbsUp [81/]](./images/smilies/81_EmoticonsHDcom.png)
