Partifacts from Roman field - Roman armour hinge?

Post by tobo27 »

Along with a lovely Antoninus Pius denarius, and a few other Roman coins, I also found the following three objects and would be grateful for any ID on them. The hinged item certainly looks like it could be Roman... could it be a hinge from Roman armour? ( maybe wishful thinking).
The other two bits I have no idea.
Thanks in advance

I may be wrong but the hinged piece looks like a modern hinge.

Hate to disagree, but looking into it further I found this. Mine is exact same size, shape, has the concentric ring mark from being riveted so I'm pretty convinced.
