Hammered and a couple of partefacts for ID please.

Post by Ringtop-grafter »

Hello all! & hope you are all well and managing to get out in the nice weather [81/]

Been out on previously ploughed pasture for a few hours this afternoon, amongst the usual scrap had a nice Guild of courtesy children’s national pendant, what looked like a very small circular lead bag seal but had patent 619.03 stamped on one side, a hammered coin and a couple of strange ones for hopeful ID please.

The hammered was 6 inch deep, gave a dodgy 25-27 a solid 23 out of the hole, with a positive and negative grunts from all angles with my manticore, so I was surprised to see a hammered come up, just show’s amongst negative grunts if there is a positive signal amongst them from all angles still dig the target.

Any help with ID’s as always would be much appreciated..

Thanks again Tony, what is the hammered please? It was found in the same area as my first ever coin found that you ID’d for me as a very worn copper Charles turner [81/]

As you know I’ve always appreciated your help with all ID’s since the first coin I found, a toasted Charles I small copper over 3 years ago now 👍

Just curious which is your preference with me messing about with a brilliant keepsake find to me but not valuable with your description being blundered?

Cheers again, RG [81/]
