Ring ID please

Post by Jay jay »

hi
Found this ring on ground crop in Suffolk
Could I have iD and Rough age
Think it might be silver as it's not magnetic
Can not see any marks on it

With no Assay marks it could be silver but it could also be silver plated. Best guess from me would be mid 20th C. [42/] Cheers Eric

There's little doubt that it's silver. It look to have a bit of age to it, possibly Georgian or Victorian, but a positive ID of this sort of ring is difficult just from photos.
