Thanks Pete @boston

Yes, I had some issues on my first time out today with it, firstly i put it on the wrong way round and had a job taking it through the slots to put it on then I found release of my arm struggling a bit.

Can i ask using programme 2, if i get very faint signals which are high tones, but no number in the middle of the screen are these false targets or is there something there.

Cheers

Steven.

Excellent as allways Liam

Will save more time on digging bad targets.

If its a decent high tone but no number showing would this also indicate iron trash.

Cheers

Oh dear.I hate to think what you are missing Liam.If you get a faint tone with no VDU readout,(on ploughed etc)Clear some soil away and recheck the signal.Quite often it is a good target at the edge of detection range. It could be a coin at an angle etc.

Thanks HammyMan !

Will dig them, luckily I only didn't dig them signals on my first few hours out.

Do you agree with what Liam, when he says about the Ferrous jumping to Non ferriuos on the horse shoe display, is it usally Iron Trash?

I think it makes sense what Liam says, but curious of theres any other reason it displays like this.

Really greatfull for your guidance both Liam & HammyMan
