gold ring no 4
had 3hr on burnham beach with the ferret , i done the same area as my last trip as the sand had moved off the area , there's still so much lead there , but in between some good stuff still coming out , we both had a good haul , my turn for best find this time though with a 9ct mans wedding band , sorry ferret . it came in on the etrac as a pound coin so it surprised me when it shined threw the muddy sand. also had a dog tag , the dogs name was elliss if anyone knows elliss or his family please let him know the sandman has it .

i cant see the markings clearly , not even with my glasses on and a magnifying glass , i should go to specsavers , the ferret could see it in fading light and no glassesTomo wrote:well done mate. Any age to the ring reg hall marks etc

yea , Ive had over 100 assorted weights from that beach most from an area the size of a tennis court . my bucket for lead is getting heavy , i mannaged to get £2 each for the bait clips ones and £1 each for the grabber ones , still got lods left though.Christoph1945 wrote:That lead must be worth a bob or two!
