Very nice find, but after reading the story i noticed near the bottom of the page that it says " all finds are the property of the landowner " and only an agreement between detectorist and landowner determines who shares !, so it might pay in future to have some sort of a written agreement !!! ... Just an observation .. Alan .. ;)

what i found interesting was that the article says on average each day ONE pre-Roman coin, and FIVE Roman coins are found each day.

i think those are what most people would consider a good day, divide 6 by the total number of detectorists in the uk and u have the odds u will have a good day! lol 8-}
