good to be beach detecting againiv'e been out at a local beach today,it's been a month since i last detected !
i'd fogotten how much i enjoyed the hobby. the rain was coming down sideways and it was hellish rough weather, but loads of sand has moved,coins everywhere! loads of old crusty coins at the bottom of the sea walls,first time at this beach ,a bit stoney but i loved it 
 What coinage did you find?If you don't go out and look your never find it
no old coinage fella all newer stuff, also a wierd foreign coin from 1989, but all the coins were really discoloured and close to the top.even £1and 20p coins had crusties all over them.i only had time to do a few hours today ,but i'll try it again soon cos it looks promising.
if i find any good stuff i will try and post it up here[i'm not much cop on the computer]

my misses said i must be mad to go out in that weather !
i had a think about it and said *i must be ,because i would go again today if i could* know what you mean went out the other night with my mate to a nearby beach couldnt stand up for the wind and hailstones but we didnt realise how quick the time went brill
well done russ, i think we are all like that when we are waiting for the next find
