Arado 120b Broken - Help Needed Please

Hi my husbands arado has just broken down, he has owned it from new, when switched on it just emits a constant tone no matter what adjustments are made. He contacted pentechnics who said it is not worth repairing, is there anyone out there that may be able to repair it? It has sentimental value, we live in the Bristol area. Thanks.
