Hit Southsea yesterday after 2 big storms, half the beach was gone. huge beach cut so was excited...sadly it worked against me. All the targets were registering as 10 inches plus. The cut was just too big...targets were very deep.
But..still managed a few finds in 2 hours.
3p in modern
fishing weights
mountain of bullets (storm always brings them in from the ocean floor)
nice little silver pendant from the last signal.
oddly just one ringpull!
The pendant had been there a while, caked in concretion but enough to give me a shiny surprise. Took a while to clean it off. Registered as 22 on the x-terra 705 if anyone is interested.
xterra seemed to perform better on the soaking wet sand than the dry sand today for some reason!!

Well done fabio, thats a nice bit of silver. I meant to give Southsea a go yesterday, but had to fix a leaking water pipe at my daughter's.

Always find it amazing what comes off the beach, makes you wonder what else is down there.
