Looks much better John .......

I don't believe that mild cleaning affects the value of a coin....in fact most numismatists I've spoken to prefer them to look as it does now.....but then again I'm not interested in what a coin's worth....I detect for the history, not the monetary value....

Jim. :)) :)) :))

Agree. Not always about the bling...

To me, it looks better. That makes it more enjoyable to have, and to show people.

beautiful coin mate 8-> it wasn't so long ago that I heard you moaning that you had no where to detect and now you've found a really cracking hammie :-O 8->

Its just a pity that you decided to clean it as unless you did it with soapy water only then I'm affraid that you may have de-valued it through inexpereince :-O :-O

It really looks to be in a very good condition and I fear that it has gone from being this much £££ to just £ only because you've cleaned it :-O :(( :(( :((

value doesnt matter i dont detect for financial gain

Very nice coin, you deserve that after a shortage of land. :)
Its better out of the ground and in your hand for the history or monetary value rather than left in the ground to rot doing nothing for anyone.
