Good luck, spent a fair few hours on Ferring beach, plenty of coins but not much else for me but not really got a beach machine.

Where areas of the beach are exposed not are not normally exposed. The sand and beach shifts around throughout the year, exposing new areas that would not be normally in reach of a detector. From Ferring head towards Rustington, your see the exposed areas and metal work that usually under 4 foot of sand.
