Hi there, Dug this Bottle up today from a 1920/1930/1940s Tip, need a bit of help from you experts out there as to what it would have had in it or was used for, it has the word Keystone embossed on the back, the rest is mottled eccept for a sheild shape area at the front that could have had a label on it, and 7 raised rings around the neck, Thanks JEFFGEE.

British bottle not American - makers mark UGB is United Glass Bottles of St.Helens, Merseyside & the registered design number is from 1934. Not sure who Keystone were, though - there was a Keystone mineral water manufacturers of Birmingham but they went into liquidation in 1902, but the name may have been carried on by their successors. The design of the bottle is unusual, but I would guess most likely a squash / quencher / or cordial of some sort ;)

Hi Guys, thank you for all the help, you guys are really great & its its a pleasure to have a good laugh at the same time, ive since found out there was a Keystone Bottle firm in Maine Philadelphia usa, also during the war we had a lot of American Gi's stationed on farms near us, could this be a coincidence ? but the St Helens link looks the best, just dug this one out a nice olive green Aylesbury Brewery company ltd Walton, I believe they closed 75 years ago.
