another day out

Hi All,

just got back from low water on the beach, really starting to get to know my MD now, its only been a week, but finding coins and this morning also found two bullet cases, would desperatly like to try it on land but still know permissions. it is proving harder than i thought.

stuey1 - Stick at it. The personal touch always works best. Get yourself quite smartly dressed and go knocking on some doors !! A smiling face and a neat turn out normally does the trick.

On another note, (I can get quite funny about these things given my speciality :) ), 'bullets' are the projectiles that travel down the barrel of a gun and fly through the air. 'Cartridges' are the bits that hold the propellent charge and bullet prior to firing.

This being the case, you found two cartridges today. Either that or you did indeed find bullet cases which would mean you found the metal jacket that surrounds the lead/antimony core.
