Ace 150 over 250?

How do you find your ACE 150? Been looking about for a new detector as the coil snapped off my silver sabre earlier.. it's pretty ancient and although I'm trying to fix it I've been considering a newer modle anyhow.

Been looking at Garretts and just wondered how effective they are?

im still new to detecting been member on this forum for a while but not had the chance to go out on alot land i av the garrett ace 150 and used it on the beach on wet and dry sand and its worked pretty well for me also had some good finds at 6inch plus on land..its nice and light easy to use machine with 3 tones and easy to read modes for any info u need on the garrett detector just click on the garrett detector on the top left hand side of this page and u will find all the info u will need and all the garrett machines hope that helps and happy hunting

Cheers, been reading up and watching vids still having trouble choosing between the two. The pin point ability on the 250 seems like a good bonus.

The pin point is very handy...apart from that there's not a lot of difference.
If you can up the budget a little the Euroace is much better.
