Broken Deus, Loving Regtons
Broken Deus, Loving Regtons
Hi all, just wanted to say a public thanks to Nigel at Regtons. I work quite close so popped in to Regtons at lunch, broken deus in hand. Turns out after some prompt investigation by Nigel, it's the coil. Im just in my 2 year warranty so it's being sent of for repair. What really made Regtons stand out is the loan of a coil while mines in for a fix! I've got to say, exemplorary service, friendly and professional throughout. Loving this guy like a brother, you'd be crazy to buy anywhere else! I'm going to refer to him as brother Nigel from now on, and I get my baby back!!! Here's to the weekend!!!

Sometimes its not all down to what you pay for a machine, its what happens afterwards when things go wrong .. give Brother Nigel my regards, Liam

There's me minding my own business, Googling for someones forum post about a repair to an XP coil and this thread popped up,

Thanks guys for the kind comments, anyway back to the important things in life now....... that bottle of red should be luke warm, not too cold and anything French, not too fussy as long as it contains alcohol

As it happens I'm off to see Nigel tomorrow ref my broken Garrett probe .... He was just as Boxface say's (helpful to a fault). All I have to do is bring my receipt along and he will help, that's all we want as customers. As I said to Nigel in my email to him earlier today .... Regtons really are THE place for us detectorists to go. With money so tight these days and the hobby increasingly costly for us to equip ourselves, it's reassuring to know that when the odd problem occurs with a purchase we are able to rely on the people we purchased from.
"Quite a coincidence" I thought when I saw Boxface's Broken Deus post this evening but it appears that Regtons value every customer, from the Deus buyer to the humble probe buyer. More power to them.

For those interested ... Called into Regtons this afternoon with my faulty pro pointer, they initially repaired it as it was thought the switch was causing the problem. The probe didn't seem to work as it should after the repair so the guys handed be a brand new one. How can you beat that for service? .... Thank you to all at the shop in particular thanks to Marcus? (I think that was his name).whitestone wrote:As it happens I'm off to see Nigel tomorrow ref my broken Garrett probe .... He was just as Boxface say's (helpful to a fault).
