Minelab Pro-find

Post by Billythefish »

Anyone heard anything about the new pin pointer from Minelab? I think it's supposed to be out in April.
Hopefully it'll challenge the Garrett!

Do you really want to be messing around with adjustable sensitivity on a pointer? Not sure I would.

A probe that was twinned with your detector and adjusted its discrimination control to match cant be far away.

Seems to have audio and vibrate or vibrate only option. Hope this is as good as it sounds!!! I much prefer a vibrating probe for use on the beach..

Already available, at least for the Minelab ETrac, Explorer etc. connects between control unit and coil with a 'changeover' switch to select either probe or coil. Same discrim on the probe and coil, and same target ID info - draws power from the MD battery at the same rate as the coil in use.
