Congratulations on the Deus Gav & welcome to the Forum
I like you it seems took alot of time looking into the Deus before taking the jump and buying it . I had mine delivered over 2 weeks ago and Due to work I still aint even taken it out the box , the anticipation is killing me :-(

Congratulations with buying your Deus,
I hope you have a nice and easy introduction to it, Once youve grasped it
Youll never let it go.

My brother got his Deus this week and had a hammered Henry penny 1st outing.

Thanks guys the decision was made mainly due to reading phil-fields continued learning curve with his that swayed me into buying one .I have had no experience with any other m/d except the garrett 250 and euroace so im hoping that will help me because im not comparing it to another machine and starting from scratch :D

Solid move Gav .. but then I'm baised as I have been using mine for some 9 months now. ::g
Other machines will find what the Deus finds... but what you are paying for is lightness in weight, the joy of cordless phones and superb craftmanship.
And I have pretty much been sticking with GMP mode ! Trashy iron sites are where you will want to play around with settings...
Switch on and go as far as I was concerned though
Look forward to your future finds !
