Re: DEUS SHAFT REPLACEMENT ????????

As you say, the Deus lightness is one of its great features. I've had a look at the item you mentioned, a used ss upper shaft with adjustable control unit docking bay and a XP lower shaft for the princely sum of at least £100.
I don't have any problems with the standard XP stuff, so I would stick with XP.

Having both standard and new larger coil this would interest me as I would in effect have 2 machines. Grandson could use the earphones and standard coil on the steel shaft and I would plug in a pair of wired headphones on my set up with the controll box in my pocket (thus making it wireless). Not bad way to get two for price of one and half machines.

does anyone think the stainless steel shaft could affect the signals REGTONS have told me to always make sure the shaft is not in its travelling position when turning on so they are obviously looking at the metal in the control box ect upsetting the workings so why wouldnt a stainless steel upper shaft do the same thing please

It sounds like a plan, but, you may not be able to stand too close together cos when the control is switched on, it overrides the phones and they just become Vol control, not sure that if you set up another coil your control and phones may try "pairing" if they come to close to each other. Have you tried 2 coils, one on phones and one on control? :-/ Maybe switch the phones on first swap the coil in menu, then switch control on......I don't know, I'm waffling... 8-}
