What's the difference? (CS3MX)

Post by BritishBeef »

Hi there,
I've been looking at the CS3MX for my first metal detector (second hand) and I'm confused as there seem to be different one's out there.

I know about the CS3MXi with it's interchangeable coils but I have seen a CS3MX with a black pole, another with a grey/white pole. Most have a silver fronted control box but I have also seen one with a black fronted control box too (it wasn't a CS3MXi).

Are their any differences? Are they just newer models? Any specs changes?

Thanks for any help with this!

They changed the colour of the CS3MX to a black one. It's the very same as the grey one.
I use a CS3MX and my mighty Minelab Etrac !

they both function exactly the same but the new 3mx-i model has the option for interchangable heads. looks better in black to but thats only my humble opinion :)
