afternoon on beach

nothing amazing but had a good few hours with the goldmaxx on the wet. Total was 3 old pennys, 5 half pennys, £1.15 in clad, a sixpence, threepenny bit and the locking plate off the dubloom chest I'm searching for :D

i had to wrestle with it to behave itself but it is possible. Even had it in the rockpools under water sniffing out coins lol. You get a bit of chatter but when it hits a target there's no mistaking it.

lol there definatly out there. In 1750 a Spanish galleon was wrecked on hidden rocks just offshore. In 1850 most of the sand was washed off our beach revealing the Prehistoric forest on the sea bed and and also revealing hundred's upon hundreds of gold Spanish dublooms stuck in the peat which the town folk frantically gathered up. Next tide the sand was back protecting what gold was left. I have only ever seen the sand taken off the beach like that showing the forest once in 38 year. I'm waiting for the Next one lol.
