had an hour this afternoon and I've never seen the beach so full since i was a kid. The recession is certainly doin wonders for our seaside trade. Gave up after an hour and came away with a threepenny bit and a George halfpenny. Oh and a mackeral lure and 3 fishing weights.

I only usually find loose change but I really enjoy beach detecting, a friend and I am organising a trip to a costal battery before the winter storms take it off the cliff, hoping for some nice finds.
Minelab CTX 3030 6" Coil.
Garrett Pro Pointer.
Makro Pro Pointer.
Stainless Steel Digging Tool.
Stainless Steel Sand Scoop.
Minelab Deluxe BackPack.
