Hi Tomo,

Better than nowt! I took a walk down to the beach at Talacre yesterday evening. Just wanted to take a look at the lay of things ready for today. Looking over my shoulder, I could see dark angry clouds forming on the hills. Stopped on the beach to have a chat with a local detectorist and fealt little spots of rain on my face. Mmm, only dressed in cotton shirt, jeans, and canvas boots; I thought I should start thinking about finding a little sheter from the comming rain.

By now, the heavy dark clouds had swept down from the hills and were overhead and deciding to open up with all their force. I never made it to shelter in time. When I did get to the cover of some trees, it was to late. Like a drowned rat; I walked back to the caravan with rain bouncing off me and fouling my vision. Could have done with wipers on my glasses! :(

As I entered the caravan I could see the beaming face of my wife, and I swear that I heard a faint giggle! " Do not say a word! Do not say a single word! "

As she rolled on the seat, trying to stem her laughter; I thought off that old scout motto.... Be prepared!
