Found this little plan looks to be used as a brooch found in a stream on a water search with my B3.

Yes John i think it is a home made brooch from the second world war.Made by a airman for his girlfriend of his Spitfire. ::g

great bit of history i have read that Airmen and Soldiers used to make items out of old copper pennies , but i have never seen one as nice as this , well done ::g
