Metal detecting Blackpool beaches

Just wondering is there anyone else who lives in Blackpool and Detects the beaches only i don't see any local detectorists on the Beaches Much :(

Successful Detecting is Proportional to how often you go out.
A Bad Detector in Good Hands will still fined. A Good detector in Bad hands will find Less !

I would love to but its just too far away for me, I did see a great youtube vid of a guy called mal doing it.

Yes i seen that as well i just don't see locals detecting there although there but be a few of us still
I tend to detect Lythan St Annes, Blackpool beach and most of the fylde Coast Had some nice finds over the past 12 months

I was there to do a bit a couple of weeks ago.

Unfortunately, on top of the usual Blackpool holiday crush, there was an extra 60,000+ all over the seafront.

We had chosen the weekend of the Blackpool air show. :((

Hi stargazer i watched the airshow one i like aircraft and two just wonted to see were all the people would sit on the beach :)) so i could find all there nice coins and rings .....Coins 8 quid Rings none only those conected to coke and beer cans..
